The dinosaur world facing a catastrophic overpopulation problem. With this massive overcrowding happening in the Early Jurassic just how did the dinosaurs manage to survive?

Just what would the Early Jurassic look like with one dinosaur every four square meters? This was the dodgy dinosaur density calculation that I came up with using some data from the fossil record.

One evolutionist came up with a vast number of animals per acre that he supposed must have been living at the time of the Flood. It was a fascinating result and I wondered if I could use the same fossil data in reverse to determine an approximate density of dinosaurs at some specific time in the Mesozoic Era.

My study investigated the grazing space required for a large sauropod in the Early Jurassic and determined that it would need about 600 ha.

Unfortunately, my dodgy dinosaur density calculation suggested that our hungry sauropod would be sharing this space with approximately 1,482,999 other animals, many of which could be as large as itself!

This density calculation approximated to about 1000 animals per acre which also simplifies to about 1 dinosaur per 4 sq.m. which is why I also referred to my dinosaurs as COVID-safe dinosaurs.

With this massive overcrowding in the Early Jurassic just how did the dinosaurs survive without going extinct then?

To this end I have written this humorous story to give a suggestion as to what life may have been like for the dinosaurs in the Early Jurassic and how they possibly survived.

Just what sort of plan did the dinosaurs devise to avoid starvation and survive?

Just what sort of crazy ideas did one dinosaur come up with to try to jump the queue to their regional eating area?

Just what was the problem with the Sauropod Salad?

Were the dinosaurs visited by advanced alien reptiles from a distant galaxy?

And what really did happen to the Sauropod Loaf and Cake?

Why was Yllotl’s grandma having so much difficulty looking for her lawnmower in her yard?

And why did her lounge room cushions keep disappearing?

This story gives some suggestions as to how the Early Jurassic dinosaurs may have survived this massive overpopulation problem and also answers all of the points above. Enjoy.
